Genealogy is one of the fastest growing hobby in the United States. There are many reasons for this: some people are interested in learning more about their heritage, others want to preserve their family’s history for future generations, others see it is a way to reconnect with family members. Based on the number of books, websites, and software programs devoted to this topic.
With the increasing availability of information online, many people easily conduct a great deal of their research from the comforts of their own home using their own personal computer as well as accessing paid subscription sites through their local libraries and Family History Centers
Genealogy Education Center will provide genealogy webinars to those just beginning to capture their family history and for those who already know the basics of family history/genealogical research and wish to improve their research skills. The webinars will incorporate the basics of genealogy, the use of technology to meet their personal family history goals and to share that information with others. Webinars will include the basic enhanced data accuracy and sourcing and steps to permanently preserve their family’s records and history.

Annette Guenard
I first met Winona Laird when I joined our South King County Genealogical Society many years ago. I knew very little genealogy and nothing of computers. Over the years she has generously guided me as well as countless others through this confusing world. She has an encyclopedic knowledge of genealogy and tremendous technological skills, a remarkable combination which she shares with grace and humor with anyone in need.
